Brainless
Drugs, one of the most addicting, yet negatively affecting things known to man. All my life, since I could remember, I have had to deal with both my mother and father doing, buying, or selling drugs. As a child I paid no attention to it, other than thinking that mommy and daddy were sick, mainly because I didn't understand what it was. When I reached the age of nine, I began to fully understand what my parents were doing, what was wrong with them, and why they couldn't help me with anything. Gradually their addictions grew to where it became an everyday thing of my parents doing drugs and not being able to function hardly at all. Dealing with these domestic issues has been rough for me over the years, but has ultimately made me a more independent person, given me a better outlook towards others, and a better outlook on life. This is my story behind my topic, I felt that I needed to bring this out in the open so that people can really see what happens to children dealing with similar ordeals.
