I chose this picture because I feel it displays the lifestyle of the kids with drug abusing parents. Also, I feel that by showing people how the kids have to be independent, then it will make people want to help more and make it easier on those kids. This photo really ties into my topic well and shows people what this issue does to kids. This photo uses the persuasive technique of pathos because when people see this photo they will want to help these kids and not let them be independent and antisocial all their lives.
