Parental drug abuse is a world wide issue that is affecting all types of families and lifestyles. There are many types of drugs in the world today, which makes the cases of parental drug abuse different from others. Sense the issue is world wide it affects all ages ranging from newborns to senior citizens. Everyone who is close to an abuser or is an abuser themselves is affected by the issue and it can become a toll on your psychological and physical health. Many people dealing with this issue have ranged in affect from attempting or commiting suicide to inflicting pain on themselves and/or shutting themselves off from the world. Drug abuse has become worse over the years, especially sense some drugs are now legal in some states, and it will probably continue to get worse. The only way that this will decrease is if we as a nation can raise awarness and actually try and do something and be assiduous in our attempt in stopping parental drug abuse.
