This quote was taken out of an article on drug abuse. The article talks about the signs and symptoms of drug abuse and how it affects the abusers and people around them lives. Lastly, it talks about how you as an everyday person can help a drug abuser and the people affected by them.
I chose this quote because it shows how people can get when they are an abuser of drugs. Also, it shows how being a drug abuser can affect the people around you and how hard it is for them, especially if they are a kid. This quote uses the persuasive technique of big names and ties in with another persuasive technique, which is pathos because the affects of these names causes your emotions to come into play with the way you feel about my topic.
